About the Author
The author has lived and worked in a broad range of environments: he was a Cavalry sergeant in Mato Grosso, ballistics technician with Winchester and Weatherby in the U.S., cattle manager in São Paulo and the Pantanal, bridge-builder along the opening of the Trans-Amazon highway and lately tour guide in the Pantanal which, together with a motorcycle tour across Latin America and other adventures with many accidents, plus his lifelong interest in Nature, have given him a respectable store of experiences to enrich his tales.
These depict a given region and time, with its history, inhabitants, problems, social conflicts and local solutions, taken from the author's personal experiences to familiarize the reader as accurately as possible, thus rendering his books both interesting and instructive.
